People of Coloring CALL FOR ART

Seeking illustrations for new coloring book!

Priority goes to Bay Area artists, though we will accept stories from other cities

Due Monday, May 11, 2015 by 11:59pm

People of Coloring seeks illustrated art submissions for our upcoming coloring book! Selected submissions will be compiled into a coloring book to launch Summer 2016. Priority will go to artists in the Bay Area. DUE MONDAY, MAY 2nd, 2016 by 11:59pm

Our City, Our Town will celebrate and reflect communities of color in the Bay Area. Despite rapid displacement and gentrification, we refuse to accept cultural memory loss of our neighborhoods. This coloring book is dedicated to expressions of our place we call home and the people we love in it.

*Note: we welcome stories from other cities to widen the conversation and draw parallels between communities and contexts.
